Redwood Barn is as impressive and visually captivating in real life as it is in the pictures. The modernistic grandeur, the size, the floor to ceiling windows, the designer kitchen and luxurious bathtub either turns you green with envy or inspires you to watch Changing Rooms. What brings the barn to life, however, is the attention to detail and perfectionism that you may not necessary observe from the pictures. The retro-mesh-contemporary styling, the innovative repurposing and the carefully chosen furnishings (everything from the sofas to the pillow cushions) fills the space with character. Stewart strikes the right balance of being unique, quirky and experimental without being gaudy and pretentious. He was attentive, friendly and welcoming throughout the whole process. Founded in 2023 by award-winning magazine designer Stewart Parkes, Wolf Interiors is an innovative UK-based interior design company that specialises in crafting thoughtful, custom interiors infused with a spirit of warmth, playfulness and theatricality.
The concept for Wolf Interiors was born in 2020 and developed over the course of several successful projects undertaken by Stewart - among them a highly acclaimed ground-up barn conversion in Cambridgeshire.
Managed by Stewart from inception to completion, the barn interior was inspired by mid-20th century industrial design and features a collection of unconventional hand-made pieces created from repurposed materials and discarded objects.
During the project, Stewart cemented his love for creating thought provoking, multi-purpose spaces with distinct personality. On its completion he accepted further renovation and design challenges and, after a successful 20-year career developing consumer-magazine brands for one of Europe's leading publishers, decided to pursue his passion for interior design full time.
Wolf Interiors is driven by creativity, and Stewart's goal to bring personality, warmth and useability to residential properties and hospitality projects alike.
